Music Mondays: Two New Mixtapes...

Man O Man... The time has come for every groupie (Including myself) for Trey Songz's New Mixtape #LEMMEHOLDDATBEAT and Chris Brown's New Mixtape In My Zone 2.

Trey Songz brought out his alter ego Trigga Trey. This mixtape shows that he is a very talented young man. He dropped this yesterday and so far is has over 10,000 downloads. A couple of the songs were leaked a couple of weeks ago but overall that was like a sample because the cd is very good. Trey is doing his thing and I recommend this song to everyone!!!!!

They both are good mixtapes. Chris Bown isn't the young boy whoi sung Young love or Run It. He is singing about taking you down. He changed a hel of a lot. So please do listen to them.

My long journey through lipstick

So... I know I've been gone for a while and I'm tryna step my game up on the blogging tip. I just wanted to let y'all know about me wearing red lipstick for the first time in public. I wore it to a party and it was successful. I fell in love with it. I actually thought that it would look a mess on me because I am dark skinned but it actually looked NIIICE!!!!! (in my fab voice) ctfu. I might just step out of my boundary more often but not too much... I don't wanna look like a damn fool.

Damn Where's the Love?

Ok ok ok... I've been away from my blog for too damn long. I've realized that there is too much hatred in this world today. Not only hatred towards each other but hatred towards ourselves also. I see too many people walking around the streets of Philadelphia worrying about what other stupid people think of them. You don't have time to focus on the people who talk about you, you have time to focus on yourself and all of your own priorities. For I live by this quote everyday "Labels are for soup cans, I'm my own person". There is a lot of truth and power held behind that quote. Trust me I know from experience that self hate is not going to get you anywhere in life. All it's doing is hurting and tormenting yourselves. I would like a lot of people to be themselves and not live up to what other people want you to be. I want this to especially happen among my fellow Black people. All we every worry about being a certain identity. Tell me this if we all was the same identity what would make us unique. Half of the people walking around in the streets with some of that clothes that makes us look tha same has either done two of these thing: Borrowed them or paid so damn much that you had to empty your bank account to get it. You don't have to be the most popular person because the most poplar person nine times out of ten those people don't have self love.You don't have to be the most flashy or have all these nice things to love yourself. Loving yourself starts on the inside and works its way out. All I really trying to put out there is that there is no love greater that Self-Love.

A Day with No Shoes

Man o Man today is April 8th and I am looking around at people wearing no shoes so I did a little research. Today is "One Day Without Shoes" and it's on this day that people raise awareness about people in the 3rd worlds who walk around with no shoes all day everyday of their lives. This is the day that people need to recognize that Americans are the most fortunate people in the world and continent and country is not like us. We have shoes and all of the necessities we need for life. we need to help raise the awareness. If i didn't have and art studio class I would go barefoot too but I can't. I just want everyone to be aware of this crisis and take a stand. I'm absolutely proud of the bold individuals who did... Will you go barefoot?

Music Mondays

I will be post my thoughts on different music artists. They are gonna be about many different artist every week. I won't just focus on big artist today but I will be focusing on the mixtape artists also.
This week's Music Monday artist is Chris Brown.

I've been reading a lot about his most recent album, Graffiti, and a lot of people didn't like it. I enjoyed it a lot. It wasn't as good as his first two albums but it was good. My favorite song was Sing like Me. I also realized that his slow song 'Take My Time' is a good baby-maker.
Now let I'm gonna talk about his new mixtape 'In My Zone' that was released on Valentine's Day. The mixtape was creative as hell. I must give him is props on the flow. His flow is banging even though the lyrics are poor. The whole mixtape is talkin bout nothing but his cockiness and his sex game. As a matter of fact all he talked about was sex. Like My homie said, "That jawn def do goes on tha purple list." Lmao. I also realized that in one of his songs he came at Rihanna but idk how to feel about that. It sounds like a personal problem to me. She did the same thing to him a lot more worse. Anyways the mixtape was good. I enjoyed listening to it cuz DJ Drama and DJ Sense had some crazy beats on there. I think people should listen to it and tell me what you think.
